Shoot, even Dallas sees more consistent snow and freezing temperatures than we do here in San Antonio and the Hill Country. That being said, we do get occasional bad weather, and even occasional temperature swings can be tough on your auto glass. Yes, hot water will speed up the melting processing, but it could shock your windshield and cause damage.
